Over 70% of Chinese University Students Call for AI Improvements to Combat “Hallucinations”

A recent survey of 1,461 Chinese university students reveals 97.4% have encountered AI “hallucinations”—convincingly false information like fabricated academic sources or incorrect historical facts. Students are now advocating for enhanced R&D, algorithm optimization, and improved data governance to boost AI accuracy.
