At the Fifth National Reading Conference, rural reading promoters shared their efforts to accompany left-behind children in reading.In Hunan, post-1995 teacher Li Bailin launched the "Field Poetry Class" to inspire reading and poetic creation. In Zhejiang, Ying Hualiang converted an abandoned tea factory into "Feixiang Bookroom", organizing reading activities and outings for children.In Guizhou, inheritor Lai Lei built mobile bookshops and combined Dong culture with reading.More promoters have opened free rural libraries. They believe books and companionship help rural children gain confidence and connect with the wider world.
