Chongqing has established systematic mechanisms to engage young people, including Gen Z, in Whole-Process People's Democracy. Over 260 youth have observed municipal and district-level two sessions, while over 50,000 joined Model CPPCC activities. Through online surveys, offline forums and campus discussions, their voices are collected, with 134 youth-related proposals filed in 2025 driving 48 targeted policies, benefiting 9.69 million young people and turning their concerns into actionable governance measures.
