A recent announcement from the Ministry of Education website shows that in 2024, China's total investment in education reached 6,889.924 billion yuan, a 6.66% increase over the previous year.
Among this, government-funded education expenditure totaled 5,416.105 billion yuan, up 7.38% year-on-year. The national general public budget for education was 4,149.509 billion yuan, a 1.67% increase.
