China has released a draft revision of its national air quality standards for public consultation, aiming to further protect public health. The proposal lowers limits for PM2.5 and PM10, as well as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide, which contribute to secondary pollution.  Officials stressed that stricter standards reflect higher environmental ambitions, not worsening air quality.(Photo by VCG)
