
As of the end of September, China’s new-type energy storage capacity exceeded100 million kilowatts, marking a30-fold increasesince the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period. According to the National Energy Administration, China now accounts forover 40% of global installed capacity, ranking first in the world. A new national action plan aims to raise capacity to180 million kW by 2027, driving direct investment of about250 billion yuan.
