China just made history in the Arctic! Using its ice-capable mother ship "Exploration 3" and the deep-sea submersible "Fighter," the team completed 43 manned dives under thick sea ice—something no other country has ever done.
The "Fighter" and "Jiaolong" submersibles even teamed up underwater for the first time! Scientists collected valuable samples and data to help study climate change.
