China’s Li Bingjie Breaks Asian Record, Takes Silver in 400m Free at Worlds

At the Singapore World Aquatics Championships, China's Li Bingjie claimed silver in the women's 400m freestyle on July 27th, clocking 3:58.21 to break her own Asian record. Canada's Summer McIntosh won gold. Li surged past Katie Ledecky in the final meters for second place. In relays, China's women placed fourth in the 4x100m free, while the men's team finished fifth.
