From 2021 to 2025, China will continue to implement a five-year action plan to improve rural living environments, focusing on household waste and sewage treatment, toilet upgrades, and village appearance enhancement, aiming for sustained and better living conditions in rural areas.As of now,86.7%of rural households have access to tap water,96.2%of administrative villages have effective household waste management,50.4%have proper sewage treatment and control, and67.3%of rural households use sanitary toilets.
