Beijing, July 8, the Chinese delegation for the 32nd FISU World University Games held its departure ceremony today. The team, consisting of over 220 athletes and staff, will compete in 14 sports, including basketball, swimming, and table tennis, at the event in Germany from July 16-27.
With an average age of 21.9, about 86% of the athletes are making their FISU debut. Liu Lixin, Secretary-General of the Chinese University Sports Association, urged the team to strive for excellence while promoting cultural exchange.
