A 61-year-old paraplegic man walked again after receiving China’s first closed-loop spinal nerve interface implant. The device restores signal transmission in damaged spinal areas, enabling voluntary movement. This breakthrough marks major progress in neurorehabilitation. Over 1,500 patients have signed up for future trials.
