Wu Yanni won bronze in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships in Gumi, South Korea, clocking 13.07 seconds. Limping after the race, she admitted her injury hadn’t fully healed and said, “I’m sorry I didn’t win gold for China. I still believe I’m the best in Asia—and Team China is the best.” The gold went to India’s Yarraji (12.96s), with Japan’s Tanaka Yumi taking silver.
