China and U.S. Reach Key Trade Agreement in Geneva, Pledge Tariff Reductions and Ongoing Dialogue

China and the United States reached a Joint Statement in tariff reductions on the high-level economic and trade talks in Geneva. The U.S. will suspend part of the reciprocal tariffs, while China agreed to cancel or suspend countermeasures. A China-U.S. Economic and Trade Consultation Mechanism will be established to promote long-term cooperation and contribute to global economic stability.(Phot/VCG)
